Bon Voyage

Holy cow! I'm about to board the plane.

Everything has been pretty much fluid and effortless so far. The next eleven hours I hope to sleep and dream my way to Paris. I'm totally incapable of grasping that this is happening. I do understand the bit of French that's circulating at the gate. The plane is full. Lots of people on their way to Paris . They're boarding Business Class, not me, though I did score an aisle seat, which is a relief.  Relief.

Good grief. I'm incoherent.

Like I said, almost any way I turn this thing around in my hand I can't believe it's happening. I think my psyche spends too much time in the 19th century. If I was about to board a carriage, it would make more sense.

They just called my rows. Okay kids.

au revoir.  bon courage.

  1. Molly, Well the third times a charm...smile. I think this one will get thru. Imagine my surprise when I opened my email and found your blog!! Thanks so much for including me in this adventure...I truly enjoy your descriptions of your trip and apartment. Yes everyone will appreciate your attempts to speak their language, no matter how well you speak it. It will open doors for you. Hope your bag has shown up by now and that you have had enough sleep to begin this next adventure and research. I am so looking forward to hearing more about it all. Be well and be in touch....
